Blueprint Design Studio seeks passionate Front-End Developer / CSS Craftsman!

We are looking for a forward thinking Front-end developer with amazing HTML/xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP skills. Experience with jQuery and WordPress a plus.

We need you to…

• Create clear, easy, fast pages and interfaces that will make people understand and care about the information.
• Caring about the usability and accessibility of a site from a people point of view as well as browser.
• Able to generate, manipulate, and explain wireframes as needed to communicate the design to the client.
• Slicing up our PSDs into beautiful sites using best practices for markup and style.
• Always learning about the latest capabilities and best practices of HTML/CSS.
• Ability to develop custom WordPress themes, when a framework just won’t cut it
• Familiarity with Version Control Software. We currently use SVN and sometimes GIT.
• Have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Want to learn, push yourself, and make the web a better place
• Be comfortable working within a team environment
• At least be somewhat involved or aware of the evolution of Web Design keeping up with the community
• Juggle multiple projects, be self-directed, and be able to shift priorities on a dime.
• Hungry for new challenges, large and small

We are looking for a forward-thinking Creative Graphics / User Interface designer with amazing sense & skill in the visual arts & experience.  Key skills in web design, web layout, UX, UI, Branding, and of course crazy Photoshop chops is a must.  Experience with Illustrator, InDesign, HTML/CSS, and jQuery is a definite plus.

• Turn our PSDs into working Child Themes using a variety of WordPress Frameworks (Startbox, Hybrid, Thematic, and Savant mostly)
• Develop custom WordPress themes, when a framework just won’t cut it
• Familiarity with Version Control Software. We currently use SVN and sometimes GIT.
• Have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Know how to evaluate whether an off-the-shelf plugin meets the client’s needs and our quality standards, or if we should build something custom
• Develop WordPress widgets and plugins to make the CMS experience better for our clients
• Want to learn, push yourself, and make the web a better place
• Know that working within the GPL means not reinventing the wheel but adding shiny rims to it.
• Be comfortable working within a team environment
• At least be somewhat involved or aware of the evolution of WordPress by keeping up with the community and overall progress of the platform
• Juggle multiple projects, be self-directed, and be able to shift priorities on a dime.
